Carriage Hills is a farm that people can basically roam around and check out a farm from the 19th century. It was really fun checking out the animals on the farm, we saw goats, horses, chickens, sheep, donkeys. The donkeys and horses sometimes came right up to the fence and let you pet them. The horses were a lot bigger than I expected for some reason but it was still fun nonetheless. We visited the equipment graveyard which was very aesthetically pleasing to look at. All the equipment was distinguishable because everything was so rusted. Next we went over and saw an old barn but the trail we were walking on didn't lead anywhere so we went back. After we had lunch I went to go see the cemetery, it was chilling to look at and very interesting to observe.
Living on a farm would definitely be difficult, in the 19th century especially. I guess it would make me live more deliberately because you don't have access to modern technology and if you did it would still be difficult. Everyday you have something to do whether or not you want to. You are working towards a goal everyday. I don't know if it would be fun or not living on a farm but I would be living more deliberately.
